MACKEY BURIAL
(Montgomery)
Praire Township
MO
50N, R5W, Sec 1; NW1/4 OF SW1/4 OF NE1/4 SEC 1 TWN 50N R5W. FROM THE FLAG POLE IN DOWNTOWN MIDDLETOWN TAKE NORTH CHERRY ST. 5 TENTHS OF A MILE NORTH OF FLAGSTAFF RD. TURN LEFT AND GO 5 TENTHS OF A MILE. THE FARM IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. OWNED BY RICHARD LEMASTERS 2006. NOTE FROM CATHERINE LEMASTERS – QUOTE – THE STONE WITH THE MACKEY NAME ON IT WAS ON UNCLE BERT’S PLACE; SOMEWHERE NEAR A BRANCH AT THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY. WE NEVER DID KNOW IF THERE WAS ACTUALLY A GRAVE OR MAYBE THE STONE WAS PLACED THERE BY SOMEONE OR MAYBE EVEN WASHED DOWN THE CREEK FROM ELSEWHERE. WE WERE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THAT NAME IN OR AROUND MIDDLETOWN”.
